Ingredients
1 c butter
2 1/4 c brown sugar
1/4 t salt
1 c Karo corn syrup, light
1 cn sweetened condensed milk
1 t vanilla extract


Directions
Cook very slowly!

Melt butter in heavy sauce pan
Add brown sugar and salt
Stir in syrup, mixing well
Gradually add milk, stirring constantly
Cook until candy reaches 240° F on candy thermometer or the firm ball stage
Remove from heat
Add vanilla
Pour into well buttered pan - Line pan with parchment paper and just butter the sides on the pan
Cool - cut and wrap
